The kinesis we mean is very simple: In capitalism everything is flat and in nature nothing is flat, and your body doesn’t like it because often when you sit on a chair your body can’t stop moving and swinging. The body in the world we are living moves totally different than it moves in nature, but our body is made to move in nature. It’s healthy to use our body, if we don’t use it and we just sit in immobile furniture our muscles get atrophied. For the body it must be very boring that it can’t use everything that it has. Taking the elevator, driving the car to body fitness. By kinesis we don’t mean the capitalist schizophrenic movement of signs where everything can be anything, and nothing is what it is. Where everything is lying.
How can we live in a society if people don’t believe in the same information?
People don’t believe in facts anymore. They don’t believe in Apollo landing, they also don’t believe in climate change, aids, corona, etc.
The problem is that communication is not direct. 4000 years ago people only knew what happened in their area. Now the media tells you what happens all around you while you cant see it. You can’t smell it, you can’t feel it. We are media tourists in this world. If you go to tinder you dont know if you will like them or not, you have to meet them. Something is missing in digital communication, the most important thing is missing.
The body is not used anymore and so the brain doesn’t know what’s true.
You don’t have to use your brain anymore because ai knows everything, and you don’t have to use your body to know everything anymore. But that atrophies your body, and so your brain, until you don’t know what information is true.
In the conventional chair, comfort is achieved through the reduction of bodily participation; the seated subject appears at rest while gradually entering a condition of physiological withdrawal, the body becoming a passive observer.
We explore the difference between a person that sits in a flat still chair and a person that sits in a moving swing, on the ground, or on a tree.
We demand kinetic design against the designed entropy that defines our civilization.
